The stunning rainbow pattern created by oil separating from water inspired me to start researching paintings using this method of hydrophobic polarity. I stumbled upon the works of David Beltrá, in particular his collection “Spill.” When I learned that these stunning works of art, with their swirling colors and perfectly placed hues, were actually aerial photographs of the most devastating oil spill in history, my heart sank….However, the irony was not lost to me. Just like a love that began but came to an untimely end, it can be said that sometimes the most beautiful things in life are also the most heartbreaking.

This album is dedicated to climate change activism, oceanic preservation and the conservancy of my beautiful backyard, the Long Island Sound.
Join us July 8th at Park City Music Hall for a day of activism and music to benefit Save the Sound.org in conjunction with my HOW LOVE BEGINS album release party.

The official album launch date is 7.7 on Outside IN Music
